About the Artist

Shanna realized her artistic talent very early in life. She takes pride in being primarily self taught. Drawing and painting to her has always been a fascinating and magical experience. She enjoys painting wildlife and pets but her real love is portraiture. She intuitively captures the likeness and personality of the individual and her children’s portraits possess the delicate features and youthful freshness of childhood. Through her skillful use of form, color, and detail, she breathes life into her paintings. Her heirloom portraits have become treasured works of art for her many clients and their families.
